Pack Square

Pack Square is a lovely site to explore, especially in the evening time. The section in the photo has a few restaurants, such as: Bistro 1896, The Noodle Shop and Posana. And if you are in the mood to watch some street performers (aka buskers) this is a good spot to find them. Outdoor seating at the Bistro is cozy and shaded so you can enjoy the sites and sounds of downtown while you eat.

Pack Square

This group of buildings on the southwest side of Pack Square dates back to the 1890s and includes examples of the Romanesque Revival style (visit nps.gov for more info). It feels very much like the ‘center’ of downtown Asheville, and I’ll be sure to post more photos soon!
